I'm Jen — formulator and founder. Urthy started because I couldn't find products that were both tolerable and effective. I have early markers of autoimmune disease; products other people loved gave me headaches, breakouts and flares. "Clean" rarely performed. What performed, I couldn't tolerate. So I started formulating — first for me, then friends, then everyone.
Every Urthy formula since has been written from scratch in-house — by us, not licensed from a lab. Years of body care, fragrance and skincare taught us one thing over and over: skin is skin. Your elbow, your neck, your hands and your face are the same organ, changing the same way — and almost every brand treats only the face.
Urthy Skin is the offshoot built on that. Four steps, six formulas, face and body. Nothing you don't need.

Every Urthy Skin formula is written by Jen and reviewed with the organic chemists we work with — on stability, compatibility and dose — before it goes anywhere near your skin. The INCI you read is the INCI they signed off on.
THE SKIN.
Estheticians, holistic doctors and surgeons told us what they see when skin stops doing its jobs — on faces, hands, necks and bodies — and what they'd want in one routine. That's where four steps came from.
THE SENSES.
Years of aromatherapy and fragrance work taught us how scent behaves in a formula and on skin — and when to leave it out. Nothing goes into Urthy Skin for smell alone.

We use ingredients with published or supplier-documented performance, dosed at effective levels, and we print the names and percentages. If we can't say what it does and how much is in it, it isn't in the formula.

Formulated and made in small batches in-house, in Georgia. Tested on us first — including skin that reacts to almost everything.
